Jeff Dortch serves as Financial Planner and Compliance Officer at Aspire Private Wealth Counsel, where he helps clients develop personalized financial strategies designed to support long-term security and financial independence. Combining strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial planning and tax considerations, Jeff is committed to helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance, Jeff brings more than 17 years of experience across financial services, including accounting, lending, relationship management, and financial planning. His interest in wealth management began during college and developed into a passion for helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. After helping launch a de novo digital-first credit union, Jeff returned to wealth management to focus on comprehensive planning and long-term client relationships. Drawing on experience across multiple areas of financial services, Jeff has developed a practical perspective rooted in both successes and lessons learned. He believes that helping clients avoid common financial pitfalls can be just as important as helping them pursue new opportunities.
Jeff holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), Retirement Management Advisor® (RMA®), and Tax Planning Certified Professional™ (TPCP®) designations. His areas of expertise include retirement income planning, tax planning, and relationship management.
Working remotely from Raleigh, North Carolina, Jeff enjoys live music, playing guitar, golfing, and volunteering to help maintain the Capital Area Greenway System. He also values spending time with family located in Raleigh, Knoxville, Tampa, and Samos, Greece.
